Canyon Drive
Transforming the tired landscape of a vintage Spanish house nestled in a canyon below the Hollywood sign. Concrete and turf replaced with a bright swimming pool, palms, roses, stairways, fountains, benches and nooks, and a kitchen garden with raised redwood beds in an odd-shaped side yard. On top of this bone structure, the owners layered a rock-n-roll profusion of succulents and vegetables — and the canyon is deliciously alive.
