Fire-Safe Demonstration Garden
Commissioned by the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, this garden demonstrates fire-safe practices for designing and building planting, hardscape, and other features in the Urban-Wildland Interface. It is currently under construction at LACFD’s Las Virgenes field facility and on completion will be open for tours and teaching.
